She is insured to practice her therapies, facilitate workshops and certified courses at Festivals and Retreats, both locally and abroad.
Tara was born in the welsh coastal city of Swansea and spent some of her childhood years in the Bahamas. Her interest in healing started when she was 18, when she was given the book 'You can Heal your Life' by Louise Hay; of which a life long quest began.
In 1997, following complete lifestyle burnout in her late 20s, both professionally and personally, a 'kismet' opportunity manifested to go back to the Bahamas on a weeks healing retreat to swim with wild dolphins. She also encountered her first Reiki and Reflexology treatment. The adventure was life changing.
Returning totally reawakened, she went travelling for a year with her ever supportive husband Phil.
Inspired by the holistic enlightenment of the retreat, she enrolled in a full time course to become a Holistic Therapist and Reiki Master at Northbrook College and was awarded 'Student of the Year'.
Following the birth of her daughter Robynn, she started offering treatments to her friends and family and facilitating Reiki courses above a tiny holistic shop and Friends Meeting House in Worthing in 2004.
The stars aligned beautifully as she then met her closest spiritual friend Sue, a fellow Reiki Master. Together they have facilitated many dowsing workshops, Reiki refreshers and wellbeing evenings benefitting many like-minded souls in the local area.
Over the decades she has worked in the most beautiful natural settings such as forests and by the ocean, also in yurts and beach huts. Nature is where she thrives. Locations such as Cowdray Hall and Chalice Well Gardens in Glastonbury have also provided the condusive backdrop for restorative treatments and workshops.
Tara has her long-established therapy practice in Worthing and feels blessed to have been able to provide the platform for people to rekindle and maintain their connection with their truest selves while functioning and thriving in the modern world.
Through Tara's life, the gift of the sea has been a staple; natural sanctuary to restore and rebalance her spirit. If she could choose her 'Perfect Day' , it would be body boarding in the Gower Peninsula with her daughter Robynn and best friend Chaz.
